Itinerary

We can create a fabulous day or two in The Big Apple before you set sail for Bermuda if you wish. Museums, Shopping, Theater, History, the Arts – New York City has it all. Just let us know and we can create the perfect cruise-tour for you.

Day 1 – New York City – Board the Norwegian Getaway – Arrive in New York City at the pier to board the Norwegian Getaway. Trade city life for a slice of paradise aboard the newest ship to sail from New York to Bermuda. Build a towering pink sand castle. Snorkel among a kaleidoscope of marine life. Or play a round on one of the world’s premier golf courses. With three days in Bermuda, you’ll have plenty of time to explore. The ship will set sail at 5:00 p.m.

Day 2 – Day at Sea – Today is a full day spent at sea. Fresh breezes and wide ocean views are waiting for you on The Waterfront, a revolutionary quarter-mile oceanfront promenade designed to connect you with the sea. Discover a new restaurant or bar, like Ocean Blue on The Waterfront, a casual takeaway with seaside eats. With so many bars and lounges to discover, finding your favorite may take a few days.  There are also plenty of activities to explore.  Enjoy a rush like no other as you race in the middle of the ocean on a thrilling two–level race track. Try your luck at the Joy Casino, play some mini golf or just relax by the pool.

Day 3 – Day at Sea – Enjoy another full day spent at sea.  Forget to pack something? No worries! The gift shops onboard carry everything you’ll need for fun in the sun. Shop from a variety of souvenirs, cosmetics, clothing, snacks and sundry items. Treat yourself at duty free shops full of fantastic savings on fine jewelry, accessories, perfume, liquor and tobacco.

When you want some “me” time, look no further than Mandara Spa. Relax with a hot-stone massage, one of over 50 specialty treatments offered. At this onboard spas, treatments range from the classic to the luxurious.

Day 4 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – This morning you dock at 8:00am at the tip of Bermuda’s West End, the Royal Naval Dockyard. Home to exceptional shopping and pristine beaches, the beautifully restored Royal Naval Dockyards provide quaint boutiques, a craft market and a fascinating maritime museum. Don’t miss the many water sports offered in and around the gorgeous harbor.

Day 5 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – This is your second full day in Bermuda. Think Pink. Build your first pink sand castle. Explore the colorful underwater life. Or play 18 holes on Riddell’s Bay, Bermuda’s oldest golf course. With so much to do, it’s no wonder that NCL has been voted “Best Bermuda Itineraries” nine years in a row!

Day 6 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – The Joy sails from Bermuda at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon which gives you time for one last Shore Excursion, a little more shopping or a final morning on the beach.

Day 7 – Day at Sea – Enjoy one final day spent at sea. When it comes to entertainment on Norwegian Joy, you won’t believe your eyes or even your ears. Get mesmerized by the awe-inspiring acrobatics in Elements, relive the iconic 80’s movie Footloose on stage, or enjoy sensational wines along with the characters of Wine Lovers the Musical. On Norwegian Getaway it’s showtime, all the time.

Day 8 – New York City – Depart for Home – This morning arrive back into New York City.  Depart for home.
