Known for her elegance and graceful splendor, Queen Victoria’s luxurious marbles, woods and rich fabrics are warmly reminiscent of a more gracious era. Flooded with natural light, the room’s floor to ceiling windows command some of the best views across the ship and out to see. Perfect for watching the world go by while enjoying a beverage. (B,L,D)

Day 5 – Alesund, Norway
Alesund is located on a series of islands along Norway’s coast. It is best known for its art nouveau architecture, which you can see walking through town and learn about at the Art Nouveau Center.
You’ll have Kaiser Wilhem II to thank for this city. After all, when it was destroyed by fire in 1904, he decided to rebuild his beloved gateway in Art Nouveau style. Now its buildings dazzle with dreamy turrets and ornate carvings of dragons and mythical figures. Nature has played its part too, as calm waters and distant snow-capped peaks add to the charm. Day 6 – Day at Sea
Today is a full day spent at sea. (B,L,D)
Day 7 – Tromso, Norway
Nearly 250 miles inside the Arctic Circle, clues as to your location are everywhere. Bars stock Arctic Beer and the Arctic Cathedral resembles a geometric glacier. So too the Polaria Arctic Centre, whose exhibits recreate a polar bear den and Arctic snowstorm. You may also spot these landmarks from the cable cars that climb Mount Storsteinen and afford spellbinding views. (B,L,D)
Day 8 – Day at Sea
Today is a full day spent at sea. (B,L,D)
Day 9 – Narvik, Norway
The skies in Narvik are especially clear and great for observing the northern lights. Narvick is actually one of the most northerly towns in the world, 137 miles inside the Arctic Circle and at a latitude of 68 degrees north. Yet Narvik remains surprisingly mild thanks to a combination of the North Atlantic Current and mountains which encircle the town and shelter it from winds. (B,L,D)
Day 10 – Narvick, Norway
Narvik is an ice-free port on the Ofotfjord, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. It was founded in 1887 as the Atlantic port for the Kiruna and Gallivare iron mines in Sweden and was known as Victoriahavn until 1898. The city is now a tourist center. A great way to enjoy this serene area is to row out onto the fjord on a calm day and enjoy the peaceful lapping of the clear waters. (B,L,D)
Day 11 – Day at Sea
Today is a full day spent at sea. (B,L,D)
