Day 1 – Arrive Quebec City
This afternoon arrive in Quebec City, Quebec. Transfer via private motorcoach to your hotel. Overnight accommodations will be in a first class hotel located downtown Quebec City. Dinner is on your own.
Day 2 – Quebec City and Board the Queen Mary 2
After breakfast and hotel check out, board your private motorcoach for a city tour of Quebec City. This tour will visit many of Quebec City’s top attractions – like Old Quebec, Place Royale, Place d’Armes, and the Plains of Abraham. After the conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred to the Port of Quebec where you will board the magnificent RMS Queen Mary 2, the world’s most iconic ocean liner. The Queen Mary 2 offers exceptional dining, luxurious accommodations, famous White Star Service, and world class entertainment.
Day 3 – Quebec City
The day is spent in Quebec where you will have the day to explore the city on your own by taking a tour of the countryside. You also may choose to stay onboard and explore the Historic Queen Mary 2. The ship will depart from Quebec early this evening.
Day 4 – Saguenay, Quebec
As if flows into the St Lawrence River, the Saguenay River winds through a majestic fjord to reveal a host of picturesque villages nestles along its shores. As you cruise to Saguenay Harbour, prepare yourself for a rich and rewarding experience. This is a place where natural beauty wraps itself around a vibrant, urban conurbation in the French-speaking region of Quebec to the east of Canada.
Day 5 – At Sea
Today will be spent sailing the Atlantic coast. During the day you can take acting classes hosted by performers from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art or get some exercise playing tennis on the Sports Court. The Liner’s piece de resistance is the full-scale planetarium, where you can gaze above as you learn about the mysteries of the universe. At night, get ready to break out your dancing shoes and attend a formal ball. This is truly a royal sailing experience.
Day 6 – Sydney, Nova Scotia
Off the east coast of Canada lies a group of large islands which make up the region of Nova Scotia. The Port of Sydney is located along a long waterway, creating Canada’s ocean gateway to Cape Breton Island. Sydney is a harbor town. By the water, the Big Fiddle is a huge violin statue honoring local music. Wooden 18th century buildings include the Cossit and Jost houses, now museums with period furniture. St Patrick’s Church Museum showcases local history in an 1828 church. The Cape Breton Miners Museum explores the areas coal-mining heritage.
Day 7 – Halifax, Nova Scotia
As your ship comes into port, a bagpiper will welcome you to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. The “City of Trees” offers the warmth and charm of a small town along with all the excitement you would expect form a great city. Peggy’s Cove, Citadel Hill, and the Acadian Country are just a few of the sights that will herald your arrival here.
Day 8 – At Sea
This is your last day to relax before heading home. Lose yourself in any one of the thousands of books in the largest library at sea. Take a quiet stroll around the promenade deck – perhaps you’ll spot some marine life jumping among the waters. Or simply soak up the warmth of a poolside hot tub. Whatever your fancy, the day’s possibilities lie at the tip of your fingertips.
Day 9 – Arrive New York City
This morning arrive in New York City. Disembark the ship and bid farewell to your cruise of a lifetime. Depart for home.
